Acara Solutions seeks a Network Design Engineering Support for our client in Scottsdale, AZ.

  • As a Network Engineering Support for Satellite Ground Systems, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of complex enterprise network topologies.
  • Support network engineering activities for satellite ground systems within cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructures across multiple platforms and technologies.
  • Support documentation efforts for network operations, configurations, and procedures.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Technology or Engineering with 8 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Enterprise Network Design/topology.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in high-speed network design and implementation.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Maintenance of Network topology that utilizes Linux IDM/Windows Servers for DNS and Account Management, Juniper Firewalls, Arista Switches, and NAS/SAN storage.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with vulnerability scanning, hardening, and resolution of findings.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree with 6 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with Multicast and routing protocols (BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), OSPF (Open Shortest Path First)).
  • Written skills to include development and maintenance of documentation for network, system, and operations.
  • Familiarity with VMware vSphere and virtual machines.
  • Familiarity with the Red Hat Linux operating system.
  • Creative thinker with demonstrated success leading the software development life cycle.
  • Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a notable record of securing buy-in on concepts and ideas.
  • Experienced in the art of negotiation with the ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
