Manufacturing Training Coordinator

At Utz Quality Foods, we're all about crafting quality snacks and developing the people behind them. We're looking for a Manufacturing Training Coordinator to join our Hanover, PA based Manufacturing Training Team.

In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping how our teams learn and grow. You'll own the Manufacturing Learning Management System, build job competency matrices, support plant trainers, manage key training documents, and help drive consistency, accountability, and strong leadership across our manufacturing locations.

Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Job Competency Matrices that define the skills and knowledge needed for success across manufacturing roles.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to design, update, and deliver learning solutions, including SWIs, JBS, handbooks, and visual or audio training tools.
  • Deliver advanced training and mentorship to plant-level operator trainers to ensure consistent, high-quality training companywide.
  • Work closely with plant contacts to ensure all facilities follow established training standards, schedules, and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the Manufacturing LMS.
  • Provide or coordinate technical support for plant-level LMS administrators and trainers.
  • Manage document control for manufacturing work instructions.
  • Support manufacturing system projects and companywide initiatives.
  • Actively engage in ongoing personal development and professional growth.
  • Help promote a culture of accountability, leadership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements:



  • Flexibility to train and support teams across multiple shifts and travel out of state up to 35% as needed.

  • Strong background in manufacturing and automation technologies.



  • Proven experience with: Automation systems, Training program development, Technical support in manufacturing environments


  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database software.



  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively.



  • Confident trainer with the ability to motivate and develop others.



  • Bilingual in English/Spanish/French Creole preferred, but not required.
