Clinician - Children and Families EmergencyServices (Full Time)

If you have a desire to make a real difference in the lives of children and adolescents, then consider joining our multi-disciplinary team of committed professionals in our Children's Behavioral Health Program.The ideal candidate will be adaptable,creative,and nimble in responding to crisis situations, and willmaintainan anti-oppression, non-stigmatizing approach.Knowledge and understanding of various treatment approaches including trauma, developmental, and substance abuse related issues is highly preferable. Experience working with children and families isrequired.


Requirements/Responsibilities:


  • Services will be provided in the community and office
  • Provide individual and family counseling utilizing a variety of modalities in addressing a diverse population, including complex trauma, social determinants of health,underrepresentedpopulations,and social challenges.
  • Provide crisis assessments, risk management, and safety planning.
  • Proven ability to assess and intervene with clientsand familiesin crisis
  • Comfort and familiarity working within larger systems (e.g., with clients, families, hospitals and other providers, law enforcement and first responders, and with other community partners)
  • Demonstratedproficiencyin completing biopsychosocial assessments and crisis assessments.

Education/Licensing:


  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling,Psychologyora relatedhuman services discipline. Licenseeligibleor independently licensed.Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)preferredor the candidate will receive free, in-house training to obtain this certificationSUPERVISION FOR INDEPENT LICENSURE PROVIDED.
