SUMMARY
Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Business Continuity, Safety and EHS best practices, focusing on mitigation strategies that positively impact Alliant employees and organization's objectives. Partners with Cross functional teams and departments to educate and influence them on matters involving a proactive safety culture.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborates with the business team on developing, implementing and reviewing all safety policies and procedures.

Collaborates with cross functional teams and local business continuity teams on business continuity training and desktop exercises.

Manages ServiceNow, BCM module to capture local BCP, BCM dashboard, BCM Risk Assessments, BCM incidents, follow up reporting.

Responsible for annual review process of BCM policy and local business continuity policies.

Leads the implementation and ongoing maintenance of business continuity management plan and policies, emergency preparedness and operations plan and procedures, and security preparedness and response programs, policies, and procedures.

Operates a holistic, multi-disciplinary EHS platform that will aid in the identification of critical issues, systems, and third party risks, while auditing compliance to identify gaps.

Builds trust and confidence with cross-functional teams and influence change by providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.

Provides enterprise-wide expertise and act as subject matter expert (SME) with in-depth knowledge of Federal & State Safety Compliance regulations including OSHA, NFPA, ADA, and EPA;

Proactively monitor and interpret evolving local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring adherence and timely, accurate responses to compliance requirements

Leads plans to guide the education of employees, leaders, and other key stakeholders on employee safety.

Leads the investigation and analysis of employee safety incidents and provide guidance as needed;

Benchmarks, measures, analyzes, and articulates the value of risk management initiatives, practices, and policies.

Develops and delivers successful presentations to individuals and groups at all levels of the organization.

Maintains an effective ergonomic program by providing relevant training and evaluating workstations with the end goal of preventing cumulative trauma injuries.

Provides calm leadership during crisis events such as wildfires and hurricanes.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Associate's Degree in Risk Management Ten (10) or more years of risk management, occupational health and safety, and regulatory experience.

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or an equivalent certification

SKILLS

Superior written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation capabilities.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills, and can translate technical/tactical plans into strategic plans.

Ability to work effectively within a team and to foster teamwork.

Ability to organize and prioritize workload.

Ability to be highly collaborative and influence team dynamics towards the ultimate goal of reducing incidents of injury and illness.

Proficient in Microsoft Office products and Sharepoint.
