Summary: The Business Development Representative will work closely with the Marketing, Branch Operations and Financial Education departments to identify opportunities, implement tactics and track results. Support and execute business development and community involvement plans to create awareness, enhance the credit union's image and contribute to the achievement of credit union goals. Additional: Responsible for completion of applicable training and compliance on federal regulations and APGFCU policies and procedures as related to the duties of this position (Bank Secrecy Act, Information Security as examples, if applicable). QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma required; degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business or a related field preferred. Experience can be credited in lieu of education. Experience: Two or more years of sales or relationship management experience required, preferably in the financial services industry. Proven track record in community engagement leadership in either a volunteer or employee role. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, members and the public. Compensation information: Offers are based on experience and education. $52,416.00 - $65,520.00 annually APGFCU provides comprehensive benefits such as: medical and dental (shared expense), vision, 401(k), life and disability insurance, flexible spending account, employee assistance program, referral program, educational assistance, holidays, annual leave and sick leave.
