This is a US Based remote position for someone who sits in the PST time zone. Will start as a 6 month engagement and could extend up to 18 months.

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive individual to step into a pivotal role, where you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into actionable insights. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who thrives on independent analysis while also excelling in collaborative environments. You will spend a significant portion of your time diving deep into data, developing robust models, and crafting insightful reports that illuminate business trends and performance. Your contributions will directly support senior leadership, providing the critical information needed to navigate complex challenges and seize new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead the refresh and update of essential monthly reports, scorecards, and presentations, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct in-depth variance to forecast analysis across all relevant business metrics, identifying key drivers and areas for optimization.
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial and operational models on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Provide timely and impactful ad-hoc analyses and deliverables, offering crucial data and insights to support broader team initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver a weekly business outlook, leveraging the latest trends and current forecasts to inform strategic discussions.
  • Engage in regular stakeholder meetings and one-on-one discussions, representing your analytical findings and recommendations.
  • Participate in critical review sessions with sponsors, presenting insights and contributing to strategic alignment.


Qualifications



  • 5-7 years of relevant experience (i.e. data analysis, financial analysis or FP&A)
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Advanced Data modeling experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
  • Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze business trends


Nice-to-Have Qualifications



  • A background in data analysis, complementing your finance or business analysis experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with very strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills, including the ability to proactively highlight unusual or unclear data.
  • Demonstrated proactiveness and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
