What is the Opportunity?

The Web Access Management / IAM Engineer is responsible for the vision and delivery of the goals for the Access Management platforms and Single Sign-On processes across the US Wealth Management application portfolio. Along with providing subject matter expertise, this role acts as the "client voice" with enterprise initiatives and assists application teams with implementations. This is an active, hands-on role, responsible for end-end management of the platforms, planning, design, development, and the support of the identity and access management capabilities and all its components.

What will you do?

  • Designing, configuring, testing, and maintaining our web access management system in coordination with the enterprise IAM and security teams.

  • Communicate enterprise standards, best practices, changes in the security landscapes to relevant constituents.

  • Build, run and provide subject matter expertise for IAM solutions.

  • Guide and coach the team on best practices and maintaining products supporting secure legacy and modern authentication protocols.

  • Collaborating with enterprise architects, engineers/analysts, solution designers and lead integration efforts to meet business and functional needs.

  • Partner with project and application teams on the configuration and maintenance of access management patterns as well as single sign-on connections.

  • Acts as a Liaison with clients and vendors in the SSO application integration process.

  • Build and maintain relationships with other departments and business units work on future web access management related projects and learning new technologies/processes.

  • Stay abreast of trends in the IAM and access management space and help drive adoption of new tools and security concepts.

  • Assist in the administrative tasks for the access management platforms as required.

  • Coordinate troubleshooting and extended issues resolution not completed by the application and support teams.

  • Maintain our process and technical documentation to keep it current and accurate.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • 3 or more years of Identity and Access Management technical experience.

  • 5 or more years of cumulative experience in engineering, software development and/or support of IT Systems.

  • Hands on technical experience with IAM Platforms and Processes including Web Access Management (WAM), Web Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Federated Authentication patterns, SAML/OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JIT/SCIM provisioning, Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)

  • Prior administration and application onboarding experience with Web Access Management platforms.

  • Demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication proficiency, continuous learning, customer/client focus, mentoring others, positive attitude, problem solving, relationship building, and time management. Ability to thrive in an environment with competing priorities and the ability to adjust priority to match business demands.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with WAM products such as SiteMinder, Okta, Auth0.

  • Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure) Identity Management and administration of the tools.

  • Application onboarding experience with SaaS Vendors, cloud platforms, and in-house applications & knowledge on modernizing WAM services, migrating from legacy WAM products, and supporting coexistence during migration.

  • Server and network administration (both concept and practical) on Wintel/ Linux platforms & experience with load balancing, web server, reverse proxy (Apache/NGINX), and application server configuration and maintenance.

  • Vendor Certifications for the Okta, Auth0 or Entra ID products.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $70,000-$130,000 depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
