This role operates at the project level within RXO's Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). Project Managers oversee the strategic management of projects, guiding them through the planning, execution, and closing phases ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. This position will specifically support core site build initiatives, working closely with technical teams such as network, server, voice, database, InfoSec, and compliance to ensure successful and coordinated project delivery.

What your day-to-day will look like

  • Initiate, plan, manage, and execute projects to ensure timely delivery, quality outcomes, and scope adherence.

  • Build robust and proactive project plans that clearly outline milestones, dependencies, risks, and timelines.

  • Drive project scope definition and manage schedules, timelines, budgets, and resource alignment.

  • Coordinate project updates across technical and non-technical teams including network, server, database, InfoSec, voice, and compliance.

  • Identify and manage scope changes; update project plans accordingly and develop contingency plans when needed.

  • Communicate tasks, schedules, priorities, risks, and strategies clearly across stakeholders.

  • Track, measure, and communicate project progress using structured reporting and dashboards.

  • Prepare and present updates on project progress, risks, issues, and recommendations to steering committees and leadership.

  • Facilitate project meetings, document decisions and action items, and hold team members accountable for deliverables.

  • Assist in compiling data inputs and supporting larger program reporting to program managers.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization and work with both co-located and remote stakeholders.

  • Keep leadership informed on key issues, risk status, and resolution plans.

What you'll need to excel

At a minimum, you'll need:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
* 3 years of experience managing or coordinating projects

It'd be great if you also have:

* Experience supporting technology infrastructure, site build projects, or facility implementations

* Experience with scheduling, budgeting, risk tracking, and stakeholder coordination
* Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
* Familiarity with project financial tracking and change management practices
* Exposure to PM methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid)
* Experience working with cross-functional and remote teams
* Proficiency with PM tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, SharePoint, Teams, or Monday.com
* Ability to present project updates to leadership or steering committees
