Midwest Center for Youth and Families is seeking a talented and dynamic Director of Clinical Services to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals!

Available Shifts: Monday - Friday day shift

Midwest Center for Youth and Families (a subsidiary of UHS) has been in operation since 1997, serving youth across the country that are in need of psychiatric treatment for variety of mental health issues. The Midwest Center is a respected healthcare provider, fully accredited, 74-bed private, residential treatment facility with locations in Valparaiso and Kouts, IN.

We are dedicated to care for the hearts and minds of our patients with compassion through our full-immersion Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program for children and adolescents ages 10 - 18 who struggle with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges.

The Patriot Support Program at Midwest Center offers specialized treatment designed to address the behavioral health needs and challenges of the children of active-duty military, reserve, and national guard members.

Position Summary:

Provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and clinical expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role oversees clincial programs, ensures regulatory compliance, supports clinical staff, and collaborates with organizational leadership to drive excellence in service delivery and patient outcomes.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

*provide direction & support to clinical staff

*monitor & evaluate the quality of clinical care and patient outcomes

*ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and current clinical standards. address complex clinical concerns & support clinical decision-making

*lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery & patient satisfaction while supporting the organization's goals

*collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated & efficient care.

Qualifications

Education:

Master's degree in social work, psychology or counseling from an accredited school required.

Experience:

Three years of work experience in a behavioral health/psychiatric setting with patients aged 10-18yrs. Two years of work experience in DBT evidence-based treatment.

Requirements: Must be 21 years old

Licensure/Certifications: LCSW, LMFT, LMHC required. Must have a valid driver's license. Must complete DBT skills training certification course within 6 months of hire.
