Description

Essential Responsibilities:



  • Receive all Customer and DC returned products, damaged goods, over goods and refused shipments
  • Process International returns
  • Process the first step in Oracle for Repairs
  • Responsible to sign for all delivery receipt tickets from UPS, FedEx and other LTL or Truck Load carriers
  • Segregate all return goods into proper buckets and route materials for further processing and disposition
  • Proficiency in Oracle to conduct product receipt acceptance including Collection Plan data as appropriate
  • Conduct product inspections and Quality evaluations as needed.
  • Evaluate returned equipment and parts; approve or deny credit
  • Provide product feedback to Quality, Engineering, Marketing, and Production
  • Maximize all potential parts for reclamation activities, Route parts to appropriate area for further processing.
  • Maximize product repackaging opportunities to return items to inventory for resale
  • Maintains an organized and clean working environment
  • Troubleshoot to component level and Quality inspect all equipment to ensure conformance to engineering design and ISO standards
  • Provide detailed evaluations for FDA and Legal departments
  • Assist Returns Coordinator with warranty product returns to suppliers for credit or refurbished parts
  • Complete all required training applicable to assigned position
  • Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.


Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Advanced Education and or Degree a plus
  • Previous Returns/Reverse Logistics experience a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team oriented
  • Proficiency in the use of software programs and mainframe experience (Oracle, Lotus Notes, Word and Excel, Access, Project)
  • Proficiency in the use of power and hand tools, and use of all electronic test equipment
  • Must have thorough understanding of quality systems and their relationship to job performance including ISO overview, 5S's, Corrective/Preventative Actions and Work instructions, Canadian Medical Devices Regulations (CMDR), Food Drug and Cosmetic Act, LEAN and or Six Sigma principles
  • Must have physical ability and manual dexterity necessary to perform the duties
  • Must be able to interpret blueprints and instructions
  • Must be able to obtain a tow motor's license
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in all situations.
