Milford Regional Medical Center Nursing Assistant Training Program

Hiring Range: $15.00 - $18.35 Please note that the final offer may vary within this range based on candidate's experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity considerations. About Us:

Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital, with 145 beds, providing acute-care serving a region of 20-plus towns. With over 300 primary care and specialty physicians on the medical staff, our physicians are skilled in the most advanced procedures and technology, and provide personalized patient care in a warm and caring environment.

About Our Program:
  • Training Program start dateFebruary 2nd, 2025
  • Training program interview days: December 22nd and December 29th
  • Comprehensivepaidtraining to ensure your success (program length is 32 hours/week for 4 weeks = 128 hours total) *Training will take place on day shift
  • Program is a mix of theory/classroom, simulation/lab and clinical experience.
  • Run by the Education Department, with various guest speakers/trainers assisting
  • Participants will receive American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Candidates will be invited for an opportunity to shadow a nursing assistant prior to receiving a job offer.
  • Guaranteed benefits-eligible inpatient nursing assistant position (evening or night shift) upon completion of the program
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years old as of February 2, 2025
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to work evenings, nights, weekends & holidays
MRMC Differentials:
  • Hospital differentials are:$3.50 hourly for evenings,$5.00 hourly for nights,and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy
