Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential - and people too. With a culture that's all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology - and careers - to the next level.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our core Analytics team, focusing on SQL workload optimization. This role will have a significant impact on Snowflake's core product experience and extend our industry lead in "ease-of-optimization." This is a critical, high-visibility role for an "AI-native" product leader. Snowflake customers have high expectations!

You will be responsible for defining the vision, roadmap, and GTM strategy for Snowflake's SQL workload optimization features, and executing on them with relentless urgency, focus, and ownership. To succeed in this role, you need to be an experienced, "full-stack" product leader who is equally comfortable in deep-dives with customer architects, leading contentious product debates with senior leadership, and unblocking critical go-to-market dependencies.

AS A SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL:

  • Be the single-threaded owner for the end-to-end product lifecycle, from defining the vision, strategy and roadmap, to ensuring the rapid, on-time, and meticulous execution across all dependencies.

  • Define and execute the roadmap for new workload optimization experiences, including agentic GenAI-powered tools.

  • Own the "ease-of-optimization" experience, partnering closely with design and engineering to ensure our solutions are not just functional, but are also elegant and easy to use.

  • Conduct continuous customer and competitive research to identify, validate, and prioritize the most impactful opportunities.

  • Lead effectively across functions and orgs, building deep trust with engineering and design partners to unblock dependencies, rally teams through setbacks, and ensure a successful launch.

  • Communicate the strategy and status of your area concisely and clearly to stakeholders and senior leadership.

  • Be the external face of workload optimization, engaging with customers, partners, and the broader community (e.g., at events like Snowflake Summit).

OUR IDEAL SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER WILL HAVE:

  • Strong technical product management experience:

    • 7+ years of experience in product management

    • 5+ years of experience with data analytics, databases, or distributed systems

    • A strong understanding of the AI data platform landscape

    • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar

  • Demonstrable "AI-native" product management experience: You have a proven track record of shipping successful AI-enabled features and using GenAI tools to accelerate product development.

  • High-judgment product design skills. You have a strong point of view on what makes a great user experience and the ability to guide the team toward it.

  • A "shipping" obsession with a bias for action. You make fast, high-quality decisions, and collaborate across teams to solve problems quickly.

  • High ownership and resilience, low ego. You own outcomes, good or bad. You actively seek critical feedback, galvanize your team, and know when to disagree and commit.

  • An expert ability to lead through ambiguity and debate. You are comfortable challenging longstanding assumptions and have a reputation for making the muddy clear.

  • Excellent "championing" skills. You can align cross-org teams around a compelling vision, and win the resources they need.

  • A passion for tackling challenging problems in a rapidly evolving company and industry.

BONUS POINTS FOR EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:

  • Prior experience working on SQL workload optimization and cloud data warehouses, whether as a customer, partner, integrator

  • Experience with data services in public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Snowflake is growing fast, and we're scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
