Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Sparrows Point, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment at a manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the premises, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the property by vehicle as well as on foot. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately during emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment within the facility.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Communicate with site personnel and/or emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.
• Remain alert to potential hazards and/or unusual activity while on patrol and report findings promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Primarily driving post is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
