As a Security Officer - Access Gate Residential in Estero, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a residential setting, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the community. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to residents and visitors, creating a welcoming atmosphere. This is a driving position, requiring the operation of a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the residential location, verifying identification and authorization of individuals entering the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting residents, visitors, and contractors with inquiries and access-related needs.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address potential issues.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client site procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency response personnel during incidents as directed by site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
