As a Security Guard - Telecom Access Screener in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a leading tech-focused environment, you will play a vital role by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, be a visible presence, and interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items, using established protocols for entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter potential threats and/or disruptions within the location.
• Communicate clearly with visitors, employees, and/or management regarding security-related protocols and site expectations.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of all screening activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
