As a Security Officer - Patrol Specialist in Hazlehurst, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol assigned areas within a food and beverage production location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the site, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the food and beverage location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
• Assist with controlling access to restricted areas to help maintain order and compliance with site policies.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support incident response efforts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Being at least 21 years of age is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
