RESPONSIBILITIES
-
- Deliver curriculum, monitor, and make recommendations as appropriate to maintain course effectiveness; assist in program evaluation.
- Manage the classroom,laboratory and clinical sites.
- Promote and engage in student recruitment, retention and completion goals fostering a culture of professionalism and inclusive learning.
- Monitor and assess student learning outcomes and provide timely and frequent feedback to students on academic performance.
- Participate in advisory and/or institutional committees.
- Maintain certification, continue professional development and stay current in field and/or discipline.
- INSTRUCTION PROGRAM SPECIFIC
- Develop relationships with business and industry.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE POSITION

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in Nursing.
OR
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing AND enrolled in an accredited Master's program in Nursing with a minimum of ten (10) earned credits.
PLUS
- 2 years (4,000 hours) of demonstrated relevant occupational experience, of which 1 year (2,000 hours) within the last five years OR at least 2 years of full-time (8 semesters of part-time) post secondary teaching experience as Nursing faculty member.
PLUS
- Licensed as an RN in the State of Wisconsin (WI State Board of Nursing requirement).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association Provider Certification.
- Travel to clinical sites in Tricounty area
- Willingness to attend and participate in faculty council and & accredidation team meetings
OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- Ability to work in a fast pace agile environment.
- Ability to work with a diverse workforce and student population
- Ability to use student learning management systems
- Culturally competent, including strong emotional intelligence and the ability to engage and build relationships with constituents and underrepresented communities.
