What to Expect
The Project Manager roleisa crucial role in Tesla's Megapack utility-scale project deployment team, responsible for onsite administrative and coordination activities with internal and external parties.This team is open to considering associate projectmanager level candidates.  
 
What You'll Do
  
   - Provide administrative support to construction management staff, managing project documentation including submittals and RFIs, creation of transmittals, and issuing documentation
 - Maintain change orders, submittal, and document (drawing) control logs
 - Prepare required logs and other project documentation for construction meetings
 - Monitor construction contract requirements and deliverables
 - Interact with a diverse team tosolicitstatus updates andidentifypotential risks in project plan
 - Research payment history, generatepurchaseorders, and interface withaccountspayable
 - Prepareofslidepresentations,draft ofmeetingminutes,managingschedule, anddrafting ofprojectexecutionplans
 - Update/collatemonthlyreports providing support toprojectleadsand constructionmanagementteam
 
    
 
What You'll Bring
  
   - Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science, a related field, or equivalent experience 
 - 1- 2 years of internship or professional construction experience in renewables, utilities, or industrial settings 
 - Ability to report to office in Austin, TX, orHouston, TX 
 - Ability to travel ~25% of time to job sites 
 - Ability to read and understand design and construction drawings 
 - Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work efficiently and independently, being proactive inidentifyingtasks to complete andanticipatingneeds of staff 
 - Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof-reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers, and must be able to follow standard filing procedures  
 - Proficient computer skills, with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint)andMS Project experience strongly preferred
