Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:



Required:



  • High school diploma
  • Enrolled and currently attending an undergraduate or graduate level program, majoring in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel to Mount Union Area School District and/or Southern Huntingdon County School District and attend home/community sessions in the communities surrounding those districts.

We are seeking an Unpaid Intern Behavior Health Technician to join our team in Huntingdon County, PA



Position Details



Shadow CSBBH staff on daily program responsibilities, including therapy sessions, behavior modification, and case management.



Develop therapeutic materials to be used in sessions under supervision of master's level therapist.



Facilitate therapy sessions and behavior modification in conjunction with and under supervision of master's level therapist, for identified clients.



Office duties as applicable, including but not limited to filing, maintaining trackers, developing materials, assisting with authorizations, scheduling appointments.



Reports to CSBBH staff on a daily basis.



Attends training as required.



Attends supervisions as required.



Maintains regular communication with families, schools, physicians and other service providers involved with the children and family, as deemed appropriate by CSBBH staff.



Works flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in order to meet the needs of children and family's caseload, as deemed appropriate by CSBBH staff.



Fulfills any expectations outlined by college or university to meet requirements for course credits, transcript notation, or job study/field placement.
