Responsibilities
Part Time Chaplian Hill Crest Behavioral Health is an acute care, 194 bed inpatient psychiatric facility located in Birmingham, AL, providing mental health services for adolescents and adults. The Chaplain is responsible for leading interdenominational worship (chapel) for all hospital patients and conducts group, individual and family pastoral counseling as assigned. The focus of pastoral counseling is assisting patients in integrating their psychiatric/psychological issues and work with their own religious and theological beliefs while serving in a traditional chaplain rule for patients and family members.
