What to Expect As a Data Engineer, you will build and scale solutions to directly support Tesla's Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHS&S) goals. You will collaborate closely with EHS&S specialists, operations teams, IT applications, and business intelligence teams to deliver accurate and reliable data to power analytics (across global business units), reporting (internal and external), and machine learning (deep insights to make real impact). Data is deeply embedded in the culture at Tesla. We rely on data - lots of it - to improve our products, to optimize results, and to proactively detect opportunities for advancement. A successful candidate is a hands-on engineer who thrives on solving complex problems, leading end-to-end projects with competing priorities, and is a team player with strong communication skills. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
