Our Northeast Division is a well-respected and award-winning group where career development, training, and mentoring co-exist with diverse civil, environmental, water resources, and traffic/transportation projects in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.

We are seeking a part-time Client Services Manager to support our New England infrastructure practice. This position will be approximately 20 hours per week and on an as-needed basis. They will be expected to travel primarily throughout the central, southeast, Cape and islands areas of Massachusetts.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients
  • Identifying and proactively resolving problems related to customer service
  • Supporting project teams and tasks associated with project delivery
  • Ensuring that the needs of the clients are met with a focus on profitability
  • Identifying as well as developing new clients
  • Direct outreach to new/target clients
  • Attending in-person meetings with clients as well as communicating with them via telephone, MS Teams or written communication
  • Supporting negotiations with clients on scope, schedule, and budget considerations
  • Maintaining an accurate database on current and potential clients.
  • Advising upper management about client needs.
  • Taking accurate inquiry details from clients
  • Preparing and providing weekly schedules of planned activities, along with monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries
  • Tracking and participating in industry associations throughout the noted region
  • Regular travel to associations and clients throughout the metrowest, central, southeast, cape and islands areas of Massachusetts, and others as needed


What We're Looking For:



  • Candidates must have a minimum of 25 years of broad technical and management public works experience in the public sector in Massachusetts
  • Candidates must have proven experience building relationships and rapport with public and private sector representatives
  • A general understanding of typical public works and utilities requirements, including drinking water, sewer, transportation, and construction is required
  • Driver's license and clean driving record is required
  • Excellent communication and customer services skills are required
  • Must have the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills are a must
  • Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalency
