*Job Title:* Case Management Coordinator
*Workplace Type:* Hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 day remote) *Location:* Washington, DC 20008 *Placement Type:* Contract-to-Hire (4 Months) *Pay Rate:* $20.00-$25.00/hour *Shift:* Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Note: Must have a quiet workspace for remote day. Free parking and metro accessible. *About the Role:* TEKsystems is seeking a *Case Management Coordinator* to support clinical operations in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role is ideal for someone passionate about healthcare, highly organized, and tech-savvy, with strong customer service skills. *Key Responsibilities:* * Review and screen incoming documents and distribute to appropriate staff. * Manage incoming calls, assess caller needs, and direct appropriately. * Act as liaison between providers and members regarding authorization status. * Compile and mail letters and educational materials. * Conduct monthly surveys and collect data for analysis. * Enter and maintain accurate data in EMR and clinical documentation systems. * Organize data for targeted outreach initiatives. * Participate in quality improvement teams and community outreach. * Provide ACD phone line coverage for Clinical Operations. * Plan meetings and take detailed minutes. * Run monthly reports and identify potential case management candidates. * Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet member needs. *Must-Have Skills:* * Experience with *Microsoft Office* and *EMR systems.* * 1+ year in healthcare, patient registration, or scheduling. * Strong understanding of insurance verification and patient coverage. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of cases. * Professional demeanor and appearance. *Nice-to-Have Skills:* * Case management experience. * Familiarity with patient information systems. * Insurance management knowledge. *Work Environment:* * Fast-paced administrative/back-office setting. * Must pass a 1-day IDX training course in the first week. * Professionalism and kindness are key to success. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
