Senior* Medical Claims Analyst (Remote)* Contract Duration: Through January 2026 (with potential for extension) Location: Remote (U.S. based) Schedule: Flexible hours, 8 hours within 7 AM - 5 PM CST About the Role We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Claims Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills and a background in pharmacy or medical claims. You'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of claims processing and supporting the transition to a new adjudication platform. Key Responsibilities * Perform manual calculations on pharmacy claims and coupon submissions. * Use advanced Excel functions to identify discrepancies and validate data. * Analyze and remediate claims impacted by system errors. * Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain quality standards. * Support platform migration efforts and adapt to evolving systems. * Bachelor's Degree required Qualifications * 5+ years experience in medical or pharmacy claims processing. * 3+ years of experience with advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, queries, manual calculations). * Strong mathematical and analytical skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple systems. * Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness. Additional Information * Training is primarily hands-on and shadow-based. * The role is non-IT and falls under operations. * Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
