We are seeking a Solution Manager SME join our team to support the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office by coordinating Army Air and Missile Defense Command and Control System to lead and coordinate the definition, planning and execution of large-scale, complex solution within our SAFe Agile environment


Responsibilities

As a member of the Solutions Product Management Team, this role is ideal for a strategic thinker with experience in Agile practices, product management and enterprise-level solution delivery. This role is responsible for overseeing IFMC integration of product deliveries and works closely with the Solution Architect, Solution Train Engineer, and Business Owners as key leaders of the IFMC Solution Level. This role is pivotal in aligning product strategy, vision, and roadmaps with customer needs and business objectives, fostering innovation, and ensuring the delivery of valuable features. Active participation in team stand-ups, planning meetings, retrospectives, prioritization sessions, and other duties as assigned are also expected. Other specific duties: 1)Translate stakeholders' needs into actionable high-value features, capabilities, and enablers across Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Suppliers, 2) Collaborate with the System Architect, Release Train Engineer, and Business Owners to ensure alignment of product strategy and vision, 3) Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and refined solution backlog based on value, risk, and dependencies, 4) Coordinate integration points, compliance, and architecture runway to ensure successful end-to-end solution delivery, and 5) Act as key decision-maker in solution scope, timeline, and prioritization discussions.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a STEM field
  • The ability to work onsite, up to full time, depending upon client needs
  • 10 or more years of system engineering or related experience
  • Define and maintain IFMC Enterprise roadmap that meets stakeholder needs and business objectives
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively interface with various levels of workers/leaders
  • An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Jira and Confluence
  • Release Management Experience

  • Previous experience with the Army Air and Missile Defense Command and Control systems, such as Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS), Patriot, FAAD C2, and ADAM
  • Previous experience with the integration of Command and Control Systems in a System of Systems architecture
