Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to work closely with external brands and partners to identify and execute customer-facing marketing opportunities that align with our brand objectives. The Marketing Coordinator reports directly to the Senior Manager of Creative and Marketing Campaign Strategies and will collaborate closely with our Digital team.

Position will follow a hybrid schedule: Monday-Wednesday in Downer's Grove IL office, Thursday-Friday remote.

Key Deliverables:

  • Identify and engage with external brands and partners to explore cross-promotional marketing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with external content publication partner on featured publication ads and internal, owned marketing opportunities and relationships.
  • Partner with Category Merchants on building relationships and coordinating featured support on behalf of brands and partners.
  • Coordinate and launch marketing initiatives with partners, ensuring alignment with brand goals and objectives.
  • Assist in the planning, execution and optimization of marketing campaigns.
  • Work with internal and external teams to ensure deliverables are met on schedule and within budget.

Education and Experience:

  • Applicant must have a high school diploma. Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or communications from an accredited college preferred.
  • 1-3 years retail (grocery) industry or marketing experience preferably in marketing, advertising or communications.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing and social media marketing.
  • Experience using data analytics software for research.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must maintain the highest level of customer service at all times.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills are a must as the ability to accurately convey information to team members, management, vendors and store staff members is crucial.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to the ever-changing high volume retail environment while working in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Must have the capacity to take initiative for making appropriate decisions and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a variety of situations.
  • Must have advanced attention to detail with the capability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency of computer systems is required. Working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Must be able to support and contribute to team goals across multiple departments.

The pay range for this position is listed below. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.

$25.95 - $38.05

This pay range represents the minimum and maximum base pay for the position, which is determined by factors such as market data, the qualifications required, the level of responsibilities associated with the role and other roles at this same level. Specific pay rates will be within this range and based on your experience, qualifications, and skills compared to the internal team of this role.

Compensation for this position also includes incentive bonus opportunities that may vary based on individual and company performance. Specific details will be discussed during the hiring process.
