POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager of Brand Marketing at Nestle Health Science plays a crucial role in driving the strategic planning and execution of marketing plans for NUUN Hydration. This position independently leads cross-functional teams-including Sales, Digital, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Legal, and external agencies-to achieve sales and profit objectives. By leveraging strong marketing expertise with minimal supervision, the Manager maximizes the potential of the product line, ensuring market leadership and enhancing customer engagement, ultimately contributing to the organization's growth and success.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Short and Long-term Platform/Product Line Management

  • Identifies consumer insights relative to assigned platform and product
  • Leads all activities of assigned platform/product lines and assigned programs
  • Works with Operations and Customer Strategy Team to create monthly sales forecast
  • Develops and manages platform marketing and promotion budget
  • Develops functional requirements for product enhancements and new products to ensure that requirements identify the market need/problem, and leads cross functional team to develop the solution that best meets the market need/problem
  • Determines required marketing mix to support annual/strategic plan objectives
  • Provides direction and collaborates across the organization as appropriate for the development of marketing programs and marketing literature that compliment product and channel needs
  • Works with supply chain to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assists Sales/Customer Marketing in pricing and bid preparation

Annual Marketing Plan and Budget

  • Develops and executes the annual marketing plan for the platform and assigned program
  • Establishes platform/product sales, profit and A&P marketing budgets
  • Lead in launch communications for new and renovated items and assists in development with I&R teams
  • Measures and monitors performance against plan and program effectiveness
  • Modifies plans or implements corrective actions as necessary

Competitive/Market Analysis

  • Evaluates industry trends, competitive situation, customer feedback, technological advances and converts insights to marketing requirements
  • Formulates and executes successful competitive research and action plan development

Sales Support and Interface

  • Develops channel specific marketing strategy and programs in collaboration with Customer Strategy Team
  • Serves as Marketing lead in the development of the annual playbook
  • Responds to product and platform related questions in support of sales team
  • Provides and supports sales training for cross-functional teams
  • Participates in appropriate trade/customer functions
  • Participates on customer teams and customer presentations as appropriate

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing, or a related discipline; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in Marketing
  • Proven success in consumer-packaged goods
  • Expertise in forecasting and analytics
  • Adaptable to entrepreneurial environments and effective during periods of change
  • Experience working with lifestyle brands a plus!
  • Proven track record in driving results through business analytics, strategy development, and marketing programs
  • Strong analytical skills in research assessment, business performance, and financial data
  • Expertise in financial planning and P&L management

SKILLS:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas to senior leadership
  • Confident in proposing new ideas and challenging existing norms with well-founded justifications
  • Demonstrated leadership presence with strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Skilled in storytelling and assessing innovative business opportunities
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and leading teams and agency relationships
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, from issue analysis to strategic and tactical planning
  • Effective timeline and critical path management
  • Deep consumer understanding, including positioning and insights
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Motivated and eager to learn from industry leaders in CPG
  • Passionate about the health and wellness sector

The approximate pay range for this position is $120,000- $150,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
