Zayo is seeking a Financial Analyst Lead to drive data-informed financial planning and insights that power Zayo's Commercial and Go-To-Market business segments. This is a highly visible role for a finance professional who blends deep FP&A expertise with technical skill in analytics, automation, and business intelligence.

In this role, you'll build scalable financial reporting systems, optimize forecasting tools, and transform data into actionable insights that guide strategy and performance. You'll collaborate across Finance, Sales, and Operations to elevate decision-making and enable Zayo's continued growth.

Our Financial Analyst Lead ill report directly to our Senior Manager, Financial Analysis & Data Analytics in an individual contributor capacity.

*Preference for candidates based in the Denver, CO metro area (hybrid, 2-3 days/week). Remote candidates within the U.S. will be considered.

What You'll Do:

Financial Analytics & Reporting

  • Design and deliver data-driven financial models, dashboards, and tools that improve forecasting accuracy and business visibility.

  • Build and maintain revenue forecasting tools and models supporting the commercial organization.

  • Develop and automate management reporting for financial performance, KPIs, and operational metrics.

  • Translate financial and operational data into clear insights that inform executive decision-making.

Data Infrastructure & Automation

  • Automate and optimize FP&A workflows using Python, SQL, and Dataiku (or similar scripting tools).

  • Build and maintain analytics dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or comparable BI platforms.

  • Integrate and structure data from multiple sources (CRM, billing, ERP, external APIs) for consistent and efficient analysis.

  • Implement robust data governance and validation to ensure data quality and reliability across finance systems.

Business Partnership & Strategy

  • Manage the finance data analytics & reporting demand intake process, aligning priorities with finance leadership.

  • Partner cross-functionally to align data solutions with key business objectives.

  • Present insights and recommendations that influence commercial and operational strategy.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in FP&A, financial data analytics, or financial reporting.

  • Proven ability to connect finance principles with data science and analytics to drive business outcomes.

  • Expertise with Power BI, Tableau, Dataiku, or similar BI tools.

  • Experience with Python, SQL, or other automation languages for data transformation and workflow optimization.

  • Familiarity with FP&A platforms (e.g., OneStream) a plus.

  • Experience in an agile environment (SAFe framework preferred).

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business stories.

  • Attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Estimated base pay range: $84,900 - $115,000 USD/annually

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
