Position Summary:
The primary function of Sales Support is to provide support to the office, sales, and accounting departments. Sales Support will develop and maintain business relationships with customers and enhance yard sales by utilizing suggestive selling skills and targeting profitable SKU's.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Processes orders and credits on computer terminal. Services front counter walk in business as well as call in business.
- Receives COD, Will-call orders and takes accurate messages by telephone.
- Maintains professional image in person and on the telephone.
- Assists customers with technical questions.
- Assists Yard with cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Assist with filling inner-office orders.
- Stocks shelves, prices items, and maintains display area on a daily basis.
- Logs damaged items and yard uses items on adjustment form.
- Advises Purchasing Department of low inventory levels.
- Assists Yard Manager on an occasional basis with checking, correcting, and confirming invoices.
- Hand-writes invoices when needed.
- Will be receiving and processing COD orders.
- Maintains clean, obstacle-free work area.
- Performs work in a safe manner.
- May perform product deliveries as needed.
- Pulls will-call orders as needed.
- Assist other inside support employees as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required; 4-year degree preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of acoustical and drywall products and services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of TREND system.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Will frequently move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc.
