As an Associate Merchandise Planner, you'll play an essential role in shaping our product strategy and driving results. You'll create thoughtful, data-informed plans for margin, inventory, assortment, and financial performance that support our merchandise team. By maintaining accurate sales, margin, and inventory forecasts, you'll help ensure our Open-to-Buy reflects the best opportunities to grow the business. You'll also collaborate with cross-functional partners to enhance assortment planning and strengthen product distribution across both our store locations and direct channels.

Using your merchandise and retail accounting experience and your passion for working with numbers, you'll play a key role in supporting our guests by:



  • Reviewing seasonal results by style, class, sub-department, and department across all grades and lifestyles and providing insights and recommendations to guide future assortment
  • Collaborating with buyers to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy that aligns financial and product opportunities by department, class and by selected key items
  • Partnering with the buyers to develop assortment plans that outline the appropriate number of customer choices for each store grade and the direct channel, along with the correct depth for each choice
  • Identifying and executing markdown strategies that align with clearance timelines and gross margin objectives
  • Taking appropriate actions to maintain and control inventories to forecast and plan and identifying opportunities to cancel, purchase or expedite merchandise to hit targeted inventory levels through a monthly OTB process


We're looking for someone:



  • With a Bachelor's Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • That has 2-4 years specialty retail associate buyer/associate planner/allocation experience
  • With a strong orientation to bottom line results through practical merchandise experience
  • With experience in forecasting product need based on current trends and future plans
