Cape Fox Endeavor is accepting resumes for aRegistered Nurseto provide medical and counseling services at theEnvironmental Protection Agency.

The total hourly pay for this non-exempt position is $52.09 for up to 40 hours per week. This is comprised of a base hourly rate of $47.50 plus $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) regulations. This rate represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, for eligible positions we offer a variety of benefits including specified holidays, paid leave, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as 401K with company match. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.

The EPA Registered Nurse plays a paramount role in ensuring clinical excellence through virtual and telemedical support to EPA employees. The nurse will directly contribute to clinical care delivery and telehealth support by providing direct nursing care to EPA personnel through telemedicine, including health screenings, follow-ups, and wellness consultations. They will support the MD and Senior Nurse in managing patient cases, ensuring continuity of care, and document all clinical interactions accurately and in compliance with the Privacy Act of 1974 and HIPAA and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities:



  • Telehealth Operations
  • Conduct virtual assessments and consultations using secure telehealth platforms.
  • Familiarity with federal occupational health standards and documentation practices.
  • Assist patients in navigating the virtual care process and accessing appropriate services.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and coordination of care based on clinical protocols.
  • Assist in coordinating services with the external vendor responsible for onsite medical needs (e.g., vaccines, lab draws, physicals).
  • Track referrals, confirm service completion, and follow up on any outstanding clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with the administrative assistant to manage scheduling, patient communications, and recordkeeping.
  • Support data collection and reporting for contract deliverables and quality assurance.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to discussions on clinical workflows, patient care, and service improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with the Senior Nurse, MD, and Program Manager to ensure aligned care delivery.
  • Follow all clinical protocols, safety standards, and federal occupational health regulations.
  • Stay current on telehealth practices, occupational health trends, and relevant training.
