Responsibilities You will be part of an R&D team utilizing Agile software development to apply your knowledge and skills acquired from coursework. You will work on the latest in software stacks in networking. You will be exposed to cutting-edge networking technologies and handle complex technical challenges with the support of a world class team. In this Internship role, you will develop skills related to the following: The latest development in networking technologies and high-performance networking stacks Become familiar with a wide variety of industry standard tools You will hone your problem-solving skills in order to keep the project moving forward on a timely basis Making decisions that will influence future design for years to come Qualifications Ideal candidates for this position would possess the following attributes: Currently in pursuit of a MS/PhD Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field. Strong communication skills. Good knowledge about software development tools and current methodologies. Hands-on expertise in designing and building scalable, high-performance distributed systems. Expert-level proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python, with significant experience in a multi-language environment. Strong domain knowledge in computer networking (L2-L7 protocols, network architecture) and/or systems design & verification. Demonstrated experience in a pathfinding, advanced development, or strategic PoC-focused role. California Pay Range: MIN $38.77 - MAX $51.43 Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above. Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region. Candidates who wish to be considered must be enrolled in a accredited college/university as of September 2026. Applicants who have graduated before September 2026 will not be considered unless they are entering/applying to a MS or PHD program after graduating.
