Our growth has resulted in the need for an Embedded Software Developer focused on development of business logic in our embedded Linux platform. We are seeking an individual who enjoys solving and implementing technical challenges such as implementing new analytics to process real-world input data and turning it into actionable insights.

Position Summary

Our growth has resulted in the need for an Embedded Software Developer focused on development of business logic in our embedded Linux platform. We are seeking an individual who enjoys solving and implementing technical challenges such as implementing new analytics to process real-world input data and turning it into actionable insights.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain C and C++ applications on embedded Linux platforms.
  • Interface with custom kernel drivers and databases to process real time data.
  • Implement analytics and algorithms for insight generation and alarm triggering.
  • Support industrial communication interfaces including DNP3, IEC 61850, CAN bus, and Modbus.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and DevOps.



What You'll Bring

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating system and shell commands.
  • Understanding of shared memory IPC and multithreading.
  • Familiarity with XML configuration parsing and schema validation.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, Yocto, Buildroot) is a plus.
  • Basic scripting in Bash or Python (with a preference for compiled alternatives like Go).
  • Knowledge of version control tools, such as SVN/Git, communication, and organizational skills.
