This is anintermediate-level opportunitydesigned to grow into aDiesel Mechanicrole. If you're mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and looking for a long-term career path, we want to hear from you!
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Overtime: 1-3 hours/week on average
Compensation & Perks:
- Total Starting Pay:$25.00 - $30.75/hour
- Tool Allowance:$350/month
- Annual Boot Allowance: $400
- Company paid and provided CDL training

Key Responsibilities:
- Performpreventative maintenanceon garbage trucks, trailers, and support equipment
- Usefleet maintenance softwareto manage service records
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant shop
- Collaborate with drivers to identify and resolve vehicle issues
- Complete repairs based on DriverVehicle InspectionReports (DVIRs)
Qualifications:
- At least two years of hands-on experience performingpreventative maintenancein a professional environment
- Background in commercial vehicle ordiesel engine maintenanceis highly desirable
- Must hold avalid driver's license
- Required to have a personal set of basic tools and a toolbox
- Comfortable using computers and diagnostic software for troubleshooting and maintenance
- Brings a strong work ethic, a positive mindset, and a willingness to learn and grow in the role
