Overview
The Assistant Director of Video Board & Creative Content (Marketer I) is responsible for the planning, building, and execution of all in-arena video board elements. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for in-arena entertainment and demonstrate a strong potential for content creation. This position will also collaborate closely with the marketing and creative content teams, along with Aggie Sports Properties, to ensure the successful planning and execution of all in-game promotions and features. The role is also accountable for content preparation and implementation for auxiliary events, involving digital signage and video board use. Additionally, this position will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all in-venue signage and coordinate with various external vendors for in-season preparation.

Responsibilities
Content Creation and Live Production - 75%
  • Content preparation and creation with the creative department, including intro videos, sponsorship elements and marketing initiatives
  • Live event production for athletics and auxiliary events, as designated by the athletics department
  • Organize meetings with Aggie Sports Properties, marketing and creative content to ensure all live production expectations are met.

Video Board Logistics and Operations - 25%
  • Daktronics and Samsung training for various in-venue video boards
  • Maintain in-venue signage and work with third-party venders to ensure video board capabilities throughout the academic year


Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in broadcasting, videography, communications or related field OR an equivalent combination of experience in broadcasting or video production and education.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation for off-campus locations and events.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of NCAA and Mountain West rules
  • Experience with intercollegiate athletics

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient with Daktronics and Samsung software and equipment (Click Effect and MotionRocket as well)
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy of data and information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of building rapport with students, support staff and coaches
  • Demonstrates strong initiative and timely problem-solving skills
