What this job involves: As a Facilities Mechanic at JLL, you will oversee the daily operations of facility services and systems while performing both preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of facility infrastructure. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining optimal building performance and ensuring minimal disruption to end users. You'll work with cutting-edge MEP systems, troubleshoot complex problems, and deliver exceptional customer service that reflects JLL's commitment to creating transformative solutions for the real estate industry. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse systems and technologies while being part of a collaborative team dedicated to operational excellence. What your day-to-day will look like: * Oversee operation and perform repairs, installation, and preventative maintenance on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) infrastructure * Inspect and ensure all drainage systems are free flowing and clear of blockages; respond to calls to snake out drains or clear obstructions * Inspect and maintain all compressed air systems to ensure operational excellence and error-free performance * Oversee all dock and loading equipment systems, responding to malfunction calls and scheduling vendors as needed * Work with clients to schedule equipment offline for preventative maintenance with minimal impact to end users * Analyze system operations, determine causes of problems/malfunctions, and take corrective action as required * Prioritize all preventative maintenance, corrective and emergency work orders for the site (annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily) Required Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred * 3-5 years of experience in facility maintenance * Proficiency in MEP systems, drainage, compressed air, and loading dock equipment * Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Physical capability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions * Valid driver's license and commitment to safety practices (OSHA, JLL, and client standards) Preferred Qualifications: * Proficiency with smartphones, basic computer software, and CMMS (Corrigo experience a plus) * Relevant trade certifications or technical certifications * Experience with on-call rotation and emergency response procedures * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience working in team environments with strong interpersonal skills Location: Onsite Location: On-site -Allentown, PA, Bethlehem, PA, Easton, PAIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.
