The IT Financial Technology Solutions team is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager/Scrum Master to join our team in managing medium to large-scale enterprise projects with a primary focus on Finance, Data, and Integration initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in guiding cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions that drive strategic business outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with deep knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies and an understanding of complex enterprise environments, particularly within the financial services domain.

The candidate for this role is also expected to ensure compliance with internal processes and apply project management best practices. They should have strong organizational skills, be process-oriented and quickly develop a good working knowledge of our internal procurement and PPMO processes and tools. The candidate must possess the ability to articulate the project's progress, issues and risks to IT leadership and business partners to ensure alignment and success in meeting objectives and milestones. Strong written and verbal communication skills are especially crucial to ensure communication and change management plans are well designed and executed.

What you will do...

  • Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Scrum Master Duties: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint and PI planning, reviews, and retrospectives, and removing impediments to team progress.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with executive sponsors, business analysts, product owners, and technical leads to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Team Coordination: Coach, mentor, and support development teams to maximize their productivity, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure adherence to Agile best practices.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues. Develop mitigation strategies and communicate impacts and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Integration & Data Management: Oversee projects that involve complex system integrations, data migrations, and/or enterprise-level finance/data initiatives, ensuring seamless and secure connectivity across platforms.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed project plans, progress reports, dashboards, and documentation. Provide regular status updates to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead process improvement efforts to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of technology delivery, leveraging feedback and retrospectives.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant compliance standards, PMO stage gate processes, data privacy standards, and organizational IT security policies.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and partners as necessary, managing contracts, deliverables, and performance.
  • Budget Management: Work with IT Digital Business Partners and other IT functions to develop, plan, and track to forecast project related budgets

What you bring to the table...

  • B.S. or B.A. degree such as but not limited to Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of work experience in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience required
  • People, process, budget, timeline management skills
  • Ability to coordinate and implement change management and training plans
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with functional business customers at all organizational levels

It would be nice if you have...

Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

Preferred skills: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$119,800-$172,300

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
