Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Optimize the flow of stories and the value delivered by one or more Scrum teams Coordinate and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, manage dependencies for the team, provide visibility into team delivery plans and progress, enable continuous improvement within the team Ensure the impediments are resolved quickly, the team follows their agreed-to processes, and that there is a good relationship between the Product Owner and the development team Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, i.e., Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives Facilitate scaled planning for the team - e.g., Pre Planning/Preparation, PI Planning Events - and represents the team in Scrum of Scrums/ART Syncs Help the team define norms/agreements, like a Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and enforce the agreements Ensure the team has a healthy product and Sprint backlog (in collaboration with the PO) Act as an Agile Coach, promote and coach the Agile mindset and principles, empower the team to become self-managing and fulfill their cross-functional potential Own and guide multiple scrum teams of a portfolio of technology-driven initiatives supporting multiple lines of business units/LOBs Facilitate all team level ceremonies including Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives Represent teams in Scrum of Scrums/ART Syncs Responsible for all the enterprise permit requirements and materiality assessments Own and manage multiple initiatives at the enterprise level working with multiple non agile PMOs in supporting permit needs Proactively implement solutions and processes to reduce the number of support calls Proactively work to resolve client issues Be highly responsive to the dynamic nature of the business environment and quickly react against any critical issues related to the supported systems at all times Understand priorities and execute work accordingly Requirements: Familiar with JIRA and creation of dashboards Facilitate SCRM ceremonies Detailed, organized, and results-oriented Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization Familiarity with full project life cycle from requirements through deployment Multi-skilled in at least a few technologies and have the acumen to adapt learn quickly Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Agile Coach Agile Scrum Master Agile tools (Jira) Desired skills: Familiarity with CashPro ecosystem and or Reporting/Receivables space Familiarity with SAFe 4.0 (or higher) Lean-Agile methodology and Jira Pay Range: $55.06-$63.06 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
