Position Description

ENSCO, is seeking an INFOSEC/Cybersecurity Specialist (Level 4) to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Cybersecurity Group within the NAS Security and Enterprise Operations (NASEO) Directorate. This position will assist in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity engineering solutions that protect the National Airspace System (NAS) from evolving threats.The selected candidate will work closely with senior cybersecurity engineers and system owners to support the development, testing, and deployment of enterprise cybersecurity solutions. Responsibilities include assisting with the review of security requirements, participating in risk assessments, and helping to ensure that system designs meet established security standards. The role will provide operational support for cybersecurity tools, maintain secure data repositories, and help monitor compliance with FAA and federal policies. Additional duties include supporting the preparation of technical documentation and briefings, assisting in the analysis of system changes for potential cybersecurity impacts, and contributing to incident response and reporting activities.

Qualifications Required




  • Bachelor's degree in a related information technology field (may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience)



  • 6-10 years of experience (Master's degree may substitute for 3 years; PhD may substitute for 7 years)



  • Possess any industry-recognized certification relevant to the required work (Security+, CISSP, CISM, etc.)



  • Basic knowledge of information security principles and federal security standards including NIST SP 800-53



  • Familiarity with security tools, asset management systems, or user access administration



  • Ability to follow established cybersecurity processes and contribute to documentation and reporting



  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)




Qualifications Desired




  • Experience working with the FAA ATO



  • Experience supporting incident response or compliance audit activities



  • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity toolsets such as vulnerability scanners, SIEM platforms, asset management tools, or configuration management repositories



  • Active SECRET security clearance
