JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

The Wealth Client Portfolio Manager 2 manages complex multi-asset investment portfolios, including equity and fixed income, on behalf of institutional and high-net-worth clients. This role collaborates with clients to develop tailored investment strategies, ensuring alignment with their financial objectives and the bank's investment philosophy. The job actively cultivates client relationships, participates in business development initiatives, and stays informed on market trends, legal, and tax implications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage multi-asset portfolios for institutional and high-net-worth clients.
  • Develop and implement client-specific investment strategies, incorporating the bank's philosophy and client objectives.
  • Conduct financial analyses and research to make sound, timely investment recommendations.
  • Cultivate and maintain client relationships, including initiating contacts for business development.
  • Meet with clients to discuss financial goals, review portfolios, and provide strategic guidance.
  • Stay current on legal and tax considerations and financial market developments.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. A combination of relevant education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in investment and financial analysis.
  • Advanced understanding of investment products, markets, and regulations.
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Teams, and SharePoint, with experience utilizing portfolio management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar)

ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 20 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
