At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world. As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.

Across the board, they are proficient in effective communication with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, often keen to identify problems and draft their solutions. They have outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work optimally in a team environment, applying their proven research skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office products and financial savvy to sophisticated, quantitative and mathematically focused projects.

In this role, you'll bring hands-on experience working with data, whether through coursework, or personal projects. Familiarity with tools like SQL, R, or Python is a plus, especially if you've used them to analyze, clean, or validate data in real-world or academic settings. We're looking for curious minds who enjoy turning information into insight.

Accuracy and clarity are critical; your work directly influences how clients manage risk and protect their assets.

Our colleagues will:

  • Run catastrophe modeling software to analyze client and prospect portfolios; deliver real-time loss estimates for global catastrophic events.
  • Prepare insurance policy data using SQL and data conversion tools for catastrophe risk analysis; share results with reinsurers and join market calls.
  • Collaborate with brokers, clients, and reinsurers on risk analysis for natural and human-made catastrophes.
