Aon Is Looking for An Operations Specialist I- Supporting our healthcare programs

Hybrid role working from our Fort Washington, PA office 2 days per week.

The Operations Specialist I with Aon Business Services - Integrated Services and will support our Healthcare Individuals Program Fort Washington, PA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responding to client inquiries

Responsible for responding to client inquiries for new business, renewal, and endorsement processes.

This colleague assesses the needs of the client and can act as advisor or processor, depending on the request. The colleague must be licensed due to the advisory capacity he/she must fill. If the need is transactional, the colleague would process the request based on program rules and underwriting guidelines within the policy management system and then respond in written form. While templates are in place, due to the nature of the request, the colleague will need the ability to revise templates or create freeform responses.

  • Financial Transactions

Responsible for creating financial transactions (automated and manual) to debit / credit policy accounts depending on the nature of the request.

  • System Support

Once familiar; assists with training, system testing and process changes.

  • Special projects as assigned

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of office work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on business email correspondence.
  • Strong reading comprehension and ability to research and interpret underwriting guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong PC skills-proficiency in Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, Teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, digital environment in which switching between programs and managing several tasks simultaneously is required.
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and customer service focus.
  • Demonstrated use of sound judgment skills with solid decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and independently prioritize work.
  • Independent problem-solving skills.
  • Basic math skills.

Preferred experience:

  • Insurance industry work experience preferred
  • Property and Casualty license preferred
  • Required to obtain the P&C license within 6 months of hire date

Education:

  • High School
  • Some college or relevant work experience preferred

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $40,000 to $50,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
