PURPOSE We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to lead our Modern Workplace Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical knowledge of Microsoft services (M365) and other collaboration platforms. Proven experience in people management. This role requires a strategic thinker who understands our roadmap and vision for personal productivity and collaboration and a tactical think who can drive the team towards achieving organizational goals on time while ensuring the efficient operation of services while adhering to company policies and standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage the team by providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure the team follows governance policies and procedures as well as best practices.
- Technical Expertise:
- Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of services including Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, etc), SharePoint on-premise, and Okta.
- Consolidate legacy personal productivity and content storage environments such as Box and network drive content into our Microsoft 365 environment.
- Balance IT administration implementations with the end user experience.
- Ensure the security and compliance of Microsoft 365 environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft 365 services.
- Work with Microsoft 365 Architect to meet our personal productivity roadmap and collaboration vision.
- Project Management:
- Lead end-to-end Microsoft 365 initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational needs, timely delivery, and high user adoption.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of Microsoft 365 services.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Manage schedules and optimize resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Strategic Planning:
- Work with Microsoft 365 Architect to Implement our strategy in order to optimize the use of Microsoft 365 services.
- Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 features and best practices.
- Provide recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
- Promote Microsoft 365 user adoption
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has supervisory responsibilities, including but not limited to: supervises assigned team members (in-person and remote); talent selection and training; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance management, including conducting performance reviews; recognizing team members; addressing and resolve concerns timely, escalate for help when necessary. This job has no supervisory responsibilities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of hands-on implementation in SharePoint, PowerApps and Power Automate.
- Experience with content migrations and migration tools.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance.
- Experience with multi-year roadmap planning.
- Proven experience in people management and team leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- The ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Project management experience is a plus.

- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Fundamental
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals
