Job Description

The Physical Security Consultant I is an intermediately experienced professional responsible for overseeing ID badging operations across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with physical security protocols and regulatory requirements. This role provides guidance to contract security staff and site administrators, executes reporting and invoicing processes, and coordinates with government agencies to maintain operational standards pertaining to local permitting. The administrator plays a key role in training, auditing, and influencing cross-functional teams to support business objectives and maintain a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to contract security ID badging staff and site administrators

  • Design, develop, and maintain operational and compliance reports to support business objectives

  • Deliver ongoing training and support for site administrators and security personnel

  • Conduct regular audits of badging operations to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Executes invoicing for badging supplies, vendor services, system projects, and maintenance

  • Coordinate with local government agencies to meet permitting and regulatory requirements

  • Identify, clarify, and resolve complex issues within the physical security administration team

  • Influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, recognizing varying needs and motivations

  • Communicate clearly and professionally across multiple internal levels

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau preferred

  • Experience with administration of Access Control, Network Video and Visitor Management systems

  • Ability to track progress across teams and positively influence adherence to timelines

  • Effective communicator with the ability to deliver concise briefings to management

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required

* This job does not have supervisory duties although it does require oversite of contract staff.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $50,000.00 - 82,542.50 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
