Position Title: Packager Wage: $19.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Monday - Thursday) Become part of the dedicated team, a trusted leader in probiotics, vitamins, and supplements. In this role, you will contribute to delivering safe, high-quality health products to customers worldwide while gaining valuable experience and advancing your career in a supportive, growth-focused environment. Packager Responsibilities: - Ensuring machine is labeling and filling bottles of pills properly - Placing filled bottles into boxes by hand - Monitoring the machine to ensure caps are placed on bottles correctly - Performing visual inspection of products as they move along the conveyor belt - Removing defective products from the line - Taping and labeling packages - Palletizing finished packages Requirements For Packager: - High School Diploma required - Knowledge of GMP's preferred - Previous experience working in a food environment preferred - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and procedures - Able to work effectively with various departments - Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision - Must be able to lift 30-40 pounds throughout the day - Push and pull up to 100 pounds as needed - Work in a fast-paced environment - Stand and walk up to 12 hours per day - Ability to reach across conveyor belts - Must be able to work on a conveyor belt - Frequent bending, twisting, reaching overhead, and squatting (up to 10 hours per day) QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
