| What to Expect Tesla is seeking a motivated engineer for research and development of electric motors. This position is critical to the development of high-performance, high efficiency and low-cost electric powertrain for Tesla's current and future electric vehicles. This person will be working with the motor research team to develop & improve the loss model, flux linkage model and control model; design & optimize electric powertrain, develop test plans and perform measurements in the dyno lab.  Expected Compensation $100,160 - $225,840/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
