  • Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees, plans, directs designs and implements educational programs directed at members of the organization and to the public.
  • Develops curriculum or content for classes, lectures, conferences or other educational materials.
  • Ensures that all activities and requirements regarding the organizations educational programs are met, including accredited educational programs.
  • Positively promotes a culture of learning throughout the organization.
  • Directs the development of programs that utilized e-learning where appropriate.
  • Directs programs with external agencies such as nursing and other education institutions, developing effective communication and organization of clinical rotations.
  • Directs the activities of house-wide education to assist Hillcrest Medical Center in meeting the requirements of DNV and other federal state and local regulatory accrediting agencies.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Five (5) years related experience with 2 of those in a supervisory capacity. Experience in e-learning environment

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Education, Health Education or Organizational Development, or equivalent. MSN with education emphasis preferred.

  • Valid OK Nursing license or OK compact license (within 90 days of hire) preferred
