Student Employment / CSE3 Research Assistants

The Center for Sustainable Energy and Environmental Engineering at East Carolina University is currently seeking three Research Assistants.

Job Description: This position is with the CET Center for Sustainable Energy and Environmental Engineering working on projects funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA). The projects aim to reduce pollution, conserve water, and save energy through lean and green practices in the food and beverage processing, chemical manufacturing, and metal manufacturing and fabrication industries in North Carolina. Student is expected to work roughly 10 hours a week. Working days and hours will be arranged around the student's schedule by supervisor.

Description of Duties: Assist with data collection, data analysis, publication preparation, and laboratory tasks to support expansion and continuation of research in the Center for Sustainable Energy and Environmental Engineering.

Expected Products: Publication quality graphs, writing, maps, or other products as requested by mentor or other team members.

Evaluation Metrics: The students will be evaluated through weekly meetings with their mentor and through the feedback at team meetings.
