Responsibilities

Peraton requires Governance Managers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM.

This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida.

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

The Senior Governance Manager serves as the enterprise authority for governance, responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing governance across all functions within the Enterprise Operations Support. This role acts as the connective tissue between strategy, operations, and compliance-ensuring that governance is not only documented, but operationalized and enforced.

Key Responsibilities

    Design and implement the enterprise-wide governance framework across all enterprise functions
  • Lead the adoption and integration of the ServiceNow governance model, including demand management, change control, release governance, and platform stewardship
  • Define and enforce decision rights, role accountability, and process ownership across the ITSM ecosystem
  • Establish governance boards, working groups, and cadence for cross-functional alignment and oversight
  • Lead governance across the enterprise, partnering with Component Commands, TSOCs, and HQ stakeholders to ensure alignment, scalability, and mission relevance
  • Ensure governance supports RMF compliance, audit readiness, and cybersecurity mandates
  • Develop and maintain governance documentation, charters, workflows, and performance metrics
  • Drive continuous improvement through governance maturity assessments and stakeholder feedback
  • Serve as the senior advisor to the Enterprise Operations Support SOL on governance strategy, risk mitigation, and enterprise alignment


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • DoD TS/SCI clearance
  • Extensive experience designing and leading IT governance frameworks in complex enterprise environments
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional governance across service delivery, automation, and modernization domains
  • Familiarity with DoD compliance frameworks, RMF, and cybersecurity mandates

Desired Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow governance structures and platform operations
  • ITIL v4 certification
  • PMP or PgMP certification
  • Governance-related certifications (e.g., CGEIT, CGRC)
  • Experience standing up governance boards and enterprise cadence structures
  • Background in enterprise architecture or strategic planning

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
