Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or Associates degree from an accredited college or university and four (4) years experience working with Active Directory, Windows Server, Virtualization, Backup Systems, or Office 365.
  • Five (5) years of combined experience working with Active Directory, Backup Systems, or Office 365.
  • Five (5) years experience in Virtualization.

Licenses or Certifications:
  • One (1) Certification from Microsoft, Nutanix, or VMware within six (6) months of hire or promotion.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license and obtain a valid Florida driver's license within thirty (30) days of hire or promotion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installs new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
  • Performs basic server administration including security, file and directory permissions, additions/changes/deletions of user accounts.
  • Maintains and supports a multi-domain Active Directory structure.
  • Provide technical assistance to IT technician staff when needed.
  • Provides support for user requests and resolves various software and hardware issues relating to email, printing, rights, remote access software, etc.
